Malden Comunity & Town Guide
The city of Malden is located 4 short miles north of Boston and is accessible by Route 1, Route 93, Route 99 and Route 28. Malden is a great city that features lots of shopping options, great restaurants and pubs and a small city feel close to Boston.
Many people choose Malden apartments due to the convenience of the Malden Center MBTA Station (or T as we like to call it) on the orange line. Once aboard the Orange line it is a quick 10 minute ride into the city. The orange line runs frequently and connects to both the Red and Green Lines of the MBTA system.
Other Malden apartments are located within a 3 mile radius of Malden Center and typically offer easy access to both the T (via bus service) and major highways.
Malden offers a wide array of parks in the city. Public facilities include tennis courts, basketball courts, playgrounds and ball fields. Other sites include a 400-meter synthetic running track at Macdonald Stadium; Middlesex Fells Reservation, Fellsmere Pond, Pine Banks Park, a public swimming pool and the state-of-the-Art Malden YMCA.
